About the position
As part of a growing group of specialist educators you will have a high impact position accelerating the knowledge of our customers in their use of Provantis. Tasked with both understanding customer needs and being skilled in the use of our products, you will advance individual’s learning through the delivery of training solutions. These will both educate individual users and identify and promote where organisations will gain most value and return from the use of our products.
You will join an educational services team experienced in the Life Sciences and educational best practices with the opportunity to try-out and harness new and innovative ways to accelerate the learning experience for our customers. Continuous learning and knowledge transfer is at the heart of our staff development. The educational services team will also undertake internal education as well as support the development of educational solutions for new Instem products.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Understand Customers needs, develop and deliver successful Training plans
- Deliver training in the use of our software solution to individuals in a classroom, laboratory or virtual environment setting
- Facilitate individual’s knowledge and awareness of the value of doing something in Provantis and not just the steps involved
- Constantly strive to know Provantis inside and out
- Maintain a high approval rating based on customer feedback
Background, experience and personal attributes:

- Strong interpersonal skills and a client-focused approach to your work
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Skilled presenter and educator (face to face, webcast, video)
- Outgoing, positive and engaging
- Good organisational habits
- A background or experience of working in an IT/ Life Sciences/Pre-Clinical environment is important, or a similar role in a different field with a track record of educational success
- Success in managing or mentoring others
- A passion for clear communications, and the pursuit of the ‘Aha, I get it now!!’ moment from those you are educating
- Ability to translate potentially complex scenarios into simple and easily understood steps
- Bachelors Degree in education or equivalent experience
- Proficient in a second language other than English highly desirable
- Skilled using systems to create presentations and supporting training material.
Additional Information
You will enjoy and expect frequent international travel.
