Allergan Licenses Provantis®

Allergan have signed a Provantis Licensing agreement with Instem making them the 47th Provantis Customer and the 70th installation site worldwide!
Allergan purchased an extensive License covering In-life, Clinical Pathology, Pathology and Instem's unique Report Assembly solution. A joint Allergan/Instem project team is in place and Instem is to act as primary consultant during the implementation scheduled for early 2003. Allergan will be implementing an XP-compatible version of Provantis.
Andrew Kaku, Allergan Senior Director, Global Research and Development Information Systems, worked closely with Instem on finalizing the agreement.
Allergan, head-quartered in Irvine California, is a technology-driven, global healthcare company providing eye care and specialty pharmaceutical products worldwide. Allergan develops and commercializes products in the eye care, neuromodulator and skin care markets that deliver value to its customers, satisfy unmet medical needs, and improve patients' lives.
Discussing the agreement, Gregor Grant, Instem's VP of US Operations explained, "The technology and innovation driven characteristics of Instem, our staff, and Provantis allowed us to win this business over strong competition.
