Instem Welcomes SafePharm to the Provantis User Community

Instem LSS, a leading provider of information solutions to the world's pharmaceutical, chemical and Contract Research Organisations is proud to welcome SafePharm as its newest customer.

SafePharm entered into an exclusive agreement with Instem at the beginning of May for the provision of Provantis™ Software Licences, Annual Fees and Implementation Services. This agreement includes the Provantis General Toxicology, Reproductive Toxicology, Clinical Pathology, Pathology, Tables & Statistics modules as well as Instem's unique Protocol & Report Assembly module. A range of Implementation Services including Project Management and Planning, Installation, Training and Validation also form part of the deal.

SafePharm will also be promoting the value of their new partnership with Instem through a number of joint activities.

SafePharm is one of the worlds leading contract research facilities involved in the safety evaluation of speciality and performance chemicals, pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, intermediates and medical devices. They provide a service to more than 800 companies in over 30 different countries. Reflecting on the deal SafePharm's Director of Mammalian Toxicology, Malcolm Blackwell, comments, "SafePharm is very excited about the prospect of implementing Provantis - we see real value in Instem's solution as it will enable us to undertake more complex (and more valuable) study designs and attract new customers."
