Pierre Fabre S.A. Signs Provantis License Agreement

Instem LSS is delighted to announce that Pierre Fabre S.A. of France has signed a Provantis license agreement for its Pharmacology & Toxicology laboratory based in Tours, France.
The agreement includes the core Provantis modules covering General Toxicology, Clinical Pathology and Pathology, to be implemented in Phase 1. In addition Pierre Fabre has also purchased the Dispense module for its formulation area and Instem's unique Toxicology Resource Planning tool "TRP" for implementation in Phase 2, later in 2005.
Pierre Fabre's Director of R&D IT, Thierry Adenis said, "We were looking to implement a new, modern Toxicology Data Management System to ensure that electronic collection and handling of in-house toxicology data would be fully GLP compliant and validated and would enable faster generation of study results" He also added "Pierre Fabre evaluated the alternative software products on the market and were particularly impressed with Instem's proven services capability and the breadth and depth of their software solution."
The Pierre Fabre and Instem teams will be working to an aggressive Implementation Plan and Pierre Fabre has purchased a range of on-site services, including Validation, Installation and Training, to ensure that Provantis is implemented in a timely and cost-effective manner.
