Instem Announces Launch of Hosted Provantis Solution

Leading Pre-Clinical Solution Now Enables Smaller Labs to Utilize Same Technology Employed by Major Players; From Any Location Over The Web

CONSHOHOCKEN, PA -(BUSINESS WIRE) - Nov. 2, 2005 - - Instem, a leading global information solutions provider, today announced the launch of a hosted (ASP) version of Provantis™, its premier software solution designed for commercial and non-profit organizations engaged in non-clinical safety evaluation studies. This deployment is part of the Provantis Small Lab Solutions™ suite tailored for laboratories that have as few as 2 users, offering built-in best practices from around the world that are delivering high returns.

Using an ASP model, Instem can now manage and deliver its Provantis software from a central data center over secure public networks, making the solution & IT best practices accessible and affordable for smaller laboratories.

A range of very flexible pricing plans allows organizations to pick and choose from a series of value-added modules based on their specific business needs without being overwhelmed by a software package exceeding their budgets and capabilities today. Additionally, Instem is offering all-inclusive pricing eliminating the need for additional investments in hardware and, includes all maintenance and support costs.

Instem's hosting facility is a 24,000 square foot dedicated, single occupant building with layered levels of security. The high availability Network Operations Center hosts a number of mission critical life sciences applications and is staffed 24 hours a day; 7 days a week. Users can access their Provantis Small Lab Solutions over their network or through the Internet from any location without any special equipment. And, if requested the solution can even run on a wireless network.
