Provantis To Be Deployed Across 120 Users to Streamline Processes & Support ITR's Expansion
CONSHOHOCKEN, PA - March 23, 2007 - Instem, a premier global information solutions provider, announced today that ITR Laboratories Canada ("ITR") has purchased Provantis 8 to meet growing client demand while increasing the speed and quality of their services.
ITR is a growing non-clinical research laboratory located in Montreal. ITR performs preclinical safety studies, from acute to chronic, via all established dosing routes with specialist expertise in intravenous infusion and inhalation.
"Not only is Provantis intuitive and powerful, but is an investment that will bring us clear returns," comments Ginette Bain, VP, Facilities at ITR. "The Provantis solution offers us proven technology now, and along with the millions of dollars Instem invests into their product each year, gives us the competitive edge and confidence we need to continue our growth."
ITR will be deploying Provantis in the areas of General Toxicology, Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Formulation. ITR has also purchased complete implementation services including installation, validation, general consultancy, clinical pathology interfacing and on-site training.
"We originally reached out to ITR in 2005 in an effort to demonstrate not only our powerful Provantis software, but to expose them to a dynamic and professional organization, one that supports more users than all competing systems combined," comments John Anderson-Carter, VP of North American Sales at Instem. "They saw real value for their investment, began a formal evaluation, and now a much larger number of users at ITR will be able to leverage technology to meet the demands of their business."
